I had the chance to read through an early copy of H Is for Hanukkah: A Festival of Lights ABC Primer by Adina Oberman. While it officially comes out on September 15th, 2026 and we got to read it in the early summer, it was a cute book.
First of all, I didn’t realize there were enough Hanukkah related words to have one word for each letter. I was impressed that they could find something to put for every letter. I actually went back after we read it to check.
Second, we already have a large library of Jewish holiday related books from the PJ Library. I didn’t realize that we had never received an ABC style book before. I think this is a neat one that fits right in with those other books.
