I was an ARC reader for The Paper Princess by Elisa Kleven, which comes out on June 30th, 2026. I think this is a cool book for homeschool families.
This is the story of a little girl who draws a little doll drawing, and it ends up floating throughout the world to different people. Everyone that interacts with the paper doll adds their little story or flair to the paper drawing, making it something that’s really unique. The paper, princess, doll ends up making its way back to the girl that drew it. The drawings are really nice in the book and beautiful to look at. Some of the dialogue seems unrealistic, so that’s the only part that I would have changed.
